Lake Shikotsu

I had the chance to live and work in Hokkaido, Japan, for a few months during what I consider the most beautiful season, winter. I was at work during the week and photographed on weekends. Avoiding famous places, I travelled thousands of kilometres in search of quiet scenes and perfect timing.
