Being in the middle of nowhere and feeling the elements is one of the best things about landscape photography. When a storm gathers and everything else seems to quiet down, the light shifts dramatically, I can literally feel the atmosphere. It brings me a unique joy I have never experienced in any other situation. It comes with respect for the power gathering before me, with gratefulness and excitement.
